I have always been in love with video games and fascinated by them. I used to own a large collection of "gameinformer" magazines to stay updated with game news. As I got more into video games, I started looking at behind the scenes of my favorite video games, to understand more of what it takes to make a video game.

 

When playing video games, I noticed very quickly that I have an eye for environments, settings, themes, interior design, and just the overall space the player will find themselves in. This is how I decided I wanted to become a Level Designer in the gaming industry. I love creating the player space/environment in a level. Leading the player to where they need to go seamlessly, giving them a fun space to use their player mechanics in, and creating an environment that suits the overall theme of the game/ area of a game is what I am good at.

Later in my life, I discovered Unreal Engine 5. I became very fond of it and was able to get myself comfortable with the various tools to help me create my dream levels. I like creating open world, 3D games but really, anything involving 3D environments/spaces is where I shine the most at. Currently found a home at DinoByte Softworks LLC as a Level Designer and it has been nothing but fun for me. Being able to showcase my work on a higher level is an amazing feeling and I hope to continue working with them until the game we are working on is finished!
